CantaMed was created to unite the voices of women (inclusive of all who identify as women) physicians through the joy of singing together while fostering a community of support, connection, and well-being through music.

Music is meant to be shared. We give back to our communities through song and outreach events, using our voices to spread connection, comfort, and joy beyond the rehearsal room. We uplift women in music by highlighting and performing works by Canadian women composers and celebrating women singers, without leaving other artists behind.
